What Are the Benefits of the Slotted Coax Probe?
Slotted Coax Probe Design
The slotted coaxial probe features two elongated slots in the outer shield:
- First slot: Extends from 3.5 inches to 10 inches below the probe nut.
- Second slot: Extends from 10 inches to 17 inches below the probe nut.
Slotted Coax Probe Benefits
- Allows Pre-Field Testing of Spill and HH Alarms: The slots enable users to test and adjust their customizable alarm setpoints before using the system in the field, ensuring proper functionality.
- Greater Flexibility in Alarm Setpoints: Unlike regular probes with fixed holes at specific points, the slotted design provides more maneuverability, allowing users to fine-tune alarm levels to suit their needs.
The slotted coax probe offers added flexibility for testing and setting alarm points, and still performs the same as the regular coax probe in terms of measurement accuracy.
