How to Program Your Transmitters
Programming Your Titan Transmitter
Your Titan transmitter is programmable on a desk or bench before it is installed on the vehicle. Transmitters may also be programmed from the FINCH II-W or FINCH II-6W Display after installation.
Connection Methods
- Compartments 3 to 6 transmitters must be programmed through the disconnected SV bus wiring — the black, white, and red wires. Each TD100 transmitter is programmed using the Transmitter Adapter Cable (item 4 in the Programming Kit chart) with the alligator clips.
- Compartment 1 and 2 transmitters are connected using the FINCH II Programming Adapter for Transmitter Cable (item 6 in the Programming Kit chart) through the usual SVOUT connector.
Note
Refer to the Programming Kit Overview for more info on the individual cables.
Programming Compartments 3 to 6
See the diagrams and photos below for guidance.
Remove only one set of compartment 3–6 wires at a time. Once the black, white, and red wires are disconnected, use the alligator clips to connect to the TD100 transmitter. When programming or updating is complete, replace the 3 wires before moving on to another compartment: black wire to +, white wire to –, and red wire to the compartment number (3, 4, 5, or 6).
-
1
Unplug the Daughterboard Connector
If the transmitter on compartment 3 requires programming or updating, unplug the daughterboard connector for compartments 3 and 4.
-
2
Disconnect and Attach Alligator Clips
Disconnect the black, white, and red wires for compartment 3, then connect the programming kit's alligator clips to the 3 wires.
-
3
Program the Transmitter
Program or update the transmitter on compartment 3, then reconnect the black, white, and red wires to the daughterboard connector.
-
4
Repeat for Compartment 4
If the transmitter on compartment 4 requires programming or updating, repeat steps 2 and 3 for that transmitter.
-
5
Reconnect the Daughterboard Connector
Plug the compartment 3 and 4 connector back into the daughterboard.
-
6
Repeat for Compartments 5 and 6
If required, repeat this full process for compartments 5 and 6 by unplugging the compartment 5 and 6 connector.
Programming Connections
Each set of black, white, and red wires from compartments 3 to 6 TD100 transmitter is connected to the daughterboards. The compartment numbers are labeled on the daughterboard connectors.
The black, white, and red wires connect through the TD100 Wire Kit to the transmitter terminals labeled PWR, GND, and SV.
