Roles

Titan Portal Roles

There are two customer roles: Admin and Driver/Mechanic.

Titan creates the initial Admin account for your company. Once that account is set up, your company’s Admin can create additional user accounts for your team.

The Admin manages user accounts, permissions and configuration files in Titan Portal. Driver/Mechanic users access Titan Install using the account created by their company’s Admin.

Step 1 of 3

Sign up for Titan Portal

Sign-up starts with a short registration form — a Titan Customer Success rep takes it from there.

  1. Select Register for Titan Portal above and complete the form with your company information.
  2. Submit the form and wait to hear from a Titan Customer Success rep.
  3. Your rep will confirm your account and walk you through next steps.
  4. You should receive an email containing your Titan Portal username, a temporary password and a link to Titan Portal.

Step 2 of 3

Sign into Titan Portal for the first time

  1. Click the link in the welcome email and sign in using the username and temporary password provided.
  2. When prompted, create a permanent password for future sign-ins.

Recommended browser: Titan recommends the Chrome web browser for Titan Portal access on a PC. Known issues with the Edge browser’s file caching may prevent you from seeing the most recent Titan Portal screens and Help Center articles. The workaround is to routinely clear the browser’s cached images and files or simply use the Chrome browser.

  3. Allow the requested permissions — precise location and camera access — when prompted.
  4. Open Titan Install on the mobile device and sign in with the same email address and permanent password you use for Titan Portal.
  5. Read the Terms and Conditions, then tap Accept Terms.
  6. On the welcome screen, scan the FINCH III/FINCH II-W display’s QR code to connect.
