Overview

Before You Begin

The TD100 programming kit requires additional software or a driver to be installed before first use. A USB to RS232 Converter is included with the Titan-supplied programming kit. The driver for this converter must be installed according to the manufacturer's instructions. An internet connection is required to download and install the correct COM Port driver.

There are two different USB to RS232 Converters that have been supplied by Titan.

Current Hardware

Currently Supplied FTDI Branded USB to RS232 Converter

The driver may have already been installed for another device or automatically installed by Windows.

See SensorLink Help to manually download and install the driver:

• Ensure your computer is connected to the internet.
• Plug in the USB to RS232 Converter.
• Follow the on-screen prompts.

Legacy Hardware

Legacy Keyspan USB to RS232 Converter

Manual driver installation is required. See SensorLink Help to download and install the driver for Windows 10:

• Ensure your computer is connected to the internet.
• Do not plug in the USB to RS232 Converter until prompted.
• Follow the on-screen prompts.
