Updating FINCH II Firmware Through Titan Install

Titan Install can update the FINCH II Display’s firmware for feature improvements. No programming cables are required. The first time a display is connected to Titan Install, the app may prompt for a required firmware update before proceeding.

For routine firmware update checks and updating:

1. Tap the 3-line icon in the upper right corner of the screen.
   
2. Tap Firmware Updates.
   
3. Titan Install will check the display’s firmware versions and check for updates. When updates are not required, tap Dismiss to return to the menu.
   
4. When firmware updates are required, Titan Install will guide you through the process. Follow all the onscreen prompts and observe the warnings.
   

For first-time connection:

1. The first time a display is connected to Titan Install, the firmware may need to be updated along with an on-screen prompt to set B-DIP switch 4 up or to the ON position. This DIP switch setting is required to enable a connection to the display.
   
2. Set B-DIP switch 4 if required. The B-DIP switch 4 must be set to the up or ON position.
   
3. Follow the on-screen prompts to update the firmware. Observe all warnings.
