Titan Install & Titan Portal 1.4.0 for FINCH II-W/6W

This release adds TD200 support across Titan Install and Titan Portal, improves field troubleshooting, and makes fleet administration faster and more reliable.

Titan Install

Titan Install now supports TD200 setup and provides clearer, more dependable workflows for field technicians.

TD200 Setup & Visibility

• Guided Setup: Select and configure TD200 during initial setup using a process consistent with TD100.
• Strapping Tables: Assign compartments and create, configure, or import TD200 strapping tables from Titan Portal.
• Compatibility Checks: The app flags unsupported configurations, including pairing TD200 with FINCH II.
• Device Details: View the TD200 firmware version directly within the device details.

Troubleshooting & Workflow Improvements

• Clearer E0901 Guidance: When no transmitters are detected, the app now provides a step-by-step wiring checklist instead of a generic message.
• Improved Transmitter Count Screen: Clearer instructions and better use of screen space simplify setup and error-recovery workflows.
• Existing Trailer Assignments: Fixed an issue that incorrectly displayed a “name already taken” message when assigning FINCH III to an existing trailer.
• More Reliable Legacy updates: Improved first-attempt update success and stability when the app is minimized and reopened.
• Wiring Checklist: The checklist now opens without disconnecting the app, allowing technicians to remain connected while troubleshooting E0901.

Titan Portal

Titan Portal now supports TD200 management and includes improvements to common account and fleet-management tasks.

TD200 Management

• Device Management: View and manage TD200 details and status alongside TD100.
• Alarm Support: High-High and Spill alarm handling is now available for TD200, consistent with TD100.
• Strapping Tables: Create, edit, and assign strapping tables to TD200 devices.

Account & Navigation Improvements

• Temporary Passwords: Temporary passwords now expire one hour after they are issued.
• Bench FINCH Visibility: A count badge is displayed, and the tab opens automatically when a group has bench units but no trailers.
• Strapping Table Sorting: Sort by Name, Modified On, or Modified By, with folders kept at the top.
• Consistent Interface Styling: Information-icon colors are now consistent throughout the portal.

Performance & Data Accuracy

• Faster Login and Loading: Login and initial page-load performance have been improved. The Trailers page now loads consistently in approximately three seconds.
• New Company Search: New companies appear in search shortly after creation, removing the previous 10–15 minute delay.
• Audit Information: Modified By now identifies the user who changed strapping tables and related records.

FINCH III Firmware

FINCH III firmware version 3.1.6 adds TD200 compatibility, improves on-device feedback, and resolves several display and reliability issues.

New Features & Improvements

• TD200 Compatibility: FINCH III can now be configured for use with the TD200.
• Clearer E0901 Error Handling: FINCH III more consistently identifies when no transmitters are detected and distinguishes this condition from an issue affecting only one compartment.
• Transmitter Firmware Visibility: Press and hold the compartment-select button to view the firmware version of the selected transmitter.
• Improved Button Feedback: The display briefly blanks or “winks” when a button has been held long enough to complete a press-and-hold action.

Reliability Fixes

• Improved Startup Stability: FINCH III no longer repeatedly restarts when an E0901 error occurs with an empty compartment map. The error remains visible so it can be properly diagnosed.
• Vapor Vent Recovery: Corrected display behavior related to vapor vent conditions.
• Alarm Display: Resolved issues affecting FILL and FALL alarm information.
• Compartment Selection: Improved the reliability of compartment-select button actions.
