Manual Calibration

Learn how to manually calibrate the TD100 transmitter.

Calibration of the TD100 transmitter may be required after installation, programming or replacement of the transmitter. The calibration compensates for small differences between the programmed Offset Measurement and the actual probe height above the top of the tank.

Large changes to the calibration indicate an error in the TD100 strapping table programming. Review the strapping table and mounting details, confirm that the TD100 transmitter is programmed for the compartment it is installed on and reprogram if necessary.

The Spill alarm level and HighHigh alarm volume are not affected by calibration. Calibration does adjust the calculated volume that is determined from the actual liquid level in the tank. That adjustment in turn shifts the HighHigh alarm’s distance from the bottom of the tank.
