FINCH 5332E: Alarm Troubleshooting

Titan Logix's older FINCH Displays, FINCH 5332E and FINCH 5332 IN-CAB Display provide LED numeric display of volume information, alarms and system error codes from the TD80 and TD100 transmitter.

Both displays are able to preform an Offset Calibration on the TD80 and TD100 Transmitters.

HH Alarm

Once the liquid level reaches the programmed “High High” alarm level, the display alternately flashes “HH” and the current volume level.

The HH alarm can be cleared through acknowledging it on the display. Complete the following combination to acknowledge the HH alarm on the FINCH 5332E: Up-Up-Down-Up

Spill Alarm

When the liquid level reaches the programmed SPILL alarm level, the display flashes “SPILL." To acknowledge the alarm, fluid must be removed from the tank while the TD80 and Finch Display are turned on.

If the SPILL alarm is shown on an empty tank, complete the following steps to clear this alarm from the FINCH 5332E display:

1.  Turn off your system.

2.  Hold the up button while you power back on your system. This process takes two people if you don't have a power switch from the display.

3.  Release the up button after the FINCH 5332E shows CAL on the display.

4.  The display will flash CAL for a few seconds to indicate that it has entered calibration mode, and it will then show the current level of liquid in the tank.

5.  Turn the power off again, then back on.

This should clear your SPILL alarm.
