Titan Logix strongly recommends installing the FINCH display inside a metal enclosure or another protected location, shielded from wheel spray, road debris, and stones. Proper placement helps protect the equipment from harsh operating conditions and extends the life of your Titan system.
CAUTION – STATIC IGNITION HAZARD
Non-metallic enclosure components may present a static ignition hazard. Clean the enclosure only with a damp cloth and install the equipment in a manner that prevents static charge buildup caused by airflow, non-conductive process flow, or friction.
Additional installation requirements:
- Install the FINCH display only in locations classified as Class I, Division 2 or less hazardous.
- Do not operate the display outside the temperature range of −40°C to +55°C.
This document outlines the recommended procedure for installing a FINCH II-W or FINCH II-6W display in a Titan Logix metal enclosure.
For this guide, the vehicle is assumed to have the maximum number of compartments supported by the selected FINCH model and to include a Rack Control Module (RCM).
