      Finch II, Finch II-W and Finch II-6W Fill and Fall Alarm Setting

      The Fill Alarm

      • Purpose
        • Fill alarm allows the operator to set a warning at a predetermined volume while loading.
        • Used to stop loading at a predetermined volume or warn of the approaching High-High alarm at the maximum safe volume.

      • Fill Alarm Setting
        • While in Monitor or Display mode:
          • Select the compartment for the Fill alarm setting.
          • press and hold the UP button for more than 2 seconds and then release the button.
        • “Fill” flashes 3 times.
        • Use the UP and DWN buttons to set the Fill alarm volume.
          • Momentary press changes the volume by 1 unit.
          • Press and hold to rapidly change the volume.
          • No button press for 5 seconds ends the Fill alarm setting.

      • Fill Alarm Acknowledge
        • The active Fill alarm displays a flashing “FILL” and the current volume.
        • Clear the alarm by pressing the ACK

       

      The Fall Alarm

      • Purpose
        • Fall alarm allows the operator to set a warning at a predetermined volume while unloading.
        • Used to stop unloading at a predetermined volume or warn of the approaching minimum safe volume.

      • Fall Alarm Setting
        • While in Monitor or Display mode:
          • Select the compartment for the Fall alarm setting.
          • press and hold the DWN button for more than 2 seconds and then release the button.
        • “FALL” flashes 3 times.
        • Use the UP and DWN buttons to set the Fall alarm volume.
          • Momentary press changes the volume by 1 unit.
          • Press and hold to rapidly change the volume.
          • No button press for 5 seconds ends the Fall alarm setting.

      • Fall Alarm Acknowledge
        • The active Fall alarm displays a flashing “FALL” and the current volume.
        • Clear the alarm by pressing the ACK
