Error Codes Summary
The FINCH Display is designed to not only indicate a malfunction but also provide helpful information about it. This includes error codes and other indications that can assist in the troubleshooting process.
It is important to take note of the specific error code that appears on the FINCH display and any other indications to discuss when addressing the breakdown.
Below is a list of all of the potential error codes listed in numerical order that you might see from you FINCH display and how to address them.

Internal transmitter error |
Update the Transmitter's Firmware. Note: If this doesn't resolve the issue, you will need to replace your transmitter. |

Internal measurement transmitter error |
Update the Transmitter's Firmware. If this doesn't resolve the issue, there may be water inside your transmitter that causes it to fail. If this is the case, you will need to replace or repair the transmitter. |

Probe and/or Transmitter Connection Issues |
Tighten transmitter nut that attaches transmitter to probe Tighten shorting block at bottom of probe Ensure the inside connection between probe and transmitter is clean. If there is product or debris, wipe this connection down. Ensure there is no product buildup on probe. Ensure probe is not damaged. |

Update the TD100 firmware to the latest version. Check probe and transmitter for damage |

System Initialization Failure | Cycle the power to the FINCH II or FINCH III Note: If this doesn't resolve the issue, you will need to replace or repair your FINCH display. |
E0802 |
Input Voltage to FINCH display is too low |
Use a digital multimeter to check the voltage. Ensure it is greater than 8V. Look for corroded wire connections where the power cable connects. Note: The E0802 error code may be accompanied by other codes such as the E0780. There may be multiple errors happening as a result of low or unstable power. |
E0803 |
Input Voltage to FINCH display is too high |
Use a digital multimeter to check the voltage. Ensure it is less than 30V. Look for wire connection issues along the input power |
E0804 |
Automatic System Reset |
1. Cycle the power to the FINCH II OR FINCH III. 2. Check to see if the FINCH II OR FINCH III firmware is the latest version. Note: If this doesn't resolve the issue, you will need to replace or repair your FINCH display. |
