Strapping table files may be created from scratch using the Portal. These files are then available for mechanics to program transmitters and for administrators to import/export them.
- Log into your Titan Portal account.
- In the CORE menu, click Transmitter Configuration.
- Click the New Strapping Table button.
- Click Create from scratch.
- Enter the new strapping table file name.
- The 1st entry of 0 depth and 0 volume have already been filled in. All strapping tables must begin with 0 and 0.
- Enter the depth and volume values from the depth chart provided by the customer. Click the Add Row button to keep adding rows until all the values have been entered.
- Set the Probe Type, Detection Mode, Depth Units and Volume Units. Click the Next button to continue.
- Set or review the Spill alarm options and then enter HH alarm volume or depth. Click the right arrow next to Alarm Settings to continue.
- Enter the Offset Measurement values for Tank Thickness and Probe Offset. Click the right arrow next to Offset Measurement to continue.
- Set the Display Decimal and Decimal Shift if required. Click the right arrow next to FINCH Display Settings to continue.
- Enter the Sump depth if required. Click the right arrow next to Sump Settings to continue.
- Set the 4-20mA settings if required. Click the right arrow next to 4-20mA Settings to continue.
- This screen confirms that all settings have been completed or reviewed. Click the Close button.
- Click the Save button in the lower right corner of the screen to continue.
- The newly created strapping table file is now in the list of files.
