Assigning Permissions Within The Titan Install App

The company’s administrator is responsible for setting Titan Install app permissions for Admin and Mechanic users. This is usually done right after creating a new user account.

Permissions determine what an administrator or mechanic is permitted to work on while installing or repairing a TD100 system. They can be modified by an administrator at any time when needed.

To set or modify a user’s permissions using Titan Portal:

  1. Under ADMINISTRATION, click USERS.
  2. Find the user to edit.
  3. Click the Edit User Permissions button to edit the user’s Titan Install and Portal permissions.
  4.  Edit the user’s Titan Install permissions. Check each box to allow the user that operation. Uncheck each box to deny access to that operation.

    Alarm Relay Mapping

    Allow/Deny changing the FINCH Alarm Relay Mapping.

    FINCH Basic Configuration

    Allow/Deny performing the initial Basic Configuration when the FINCH display is newly installed and the QR code is scanned for the first time.

    Calibration via FINCH display

    Allow/Deny performing a TD100 calibration from the FINCH display’s buttons.

    Calibration via Titan Install app

    Allow/Deny performing a TD100 calibration using Titan Install.

    Pup Pump Setting

    Allow/Deny changing the FINCH display’s Remote Acknowledge as an Alarm Input.

    This setting repurposes the display’s Remote Acknowledge input as an additional alarm input from a second FINCH display.

    The second display does not necessarily have to be on a pup or control an onboard loading pump.

    Street Side Plus Curb Side

    Allow/Deny changing the FINCH display’s Global Acknowledge Enable setting.

    This setting allows multiple FINCH displays to have the alarms acknowledged from any display mounted on the vehicle.

    These displays must be connected to the same transmitters. For example, all displays must be connected to the Compartment#1 transmitter to receive the global acknowledgement.

    Update Firmware

    Allow/Deny updating the TD100 and FINCH firmware.

     

  5. Then click Save.
